The A-2240 thermal transfer printer features fast performance, easy integration and a compact, sleek design. Fast print performance of up to five inches per second is based on a 32-bit microprocessor and built-in 4M Flash and 8M DRAM memory.
The 32-bit CPU performs 5-ips print speeds and enhanced print module for demanding print jobs such as thick labels, fabric labels and demanding label printing for superior printing performance.
No ribbon wrinkles with a central thermal print head.
RS-232 and USB interfaces are available.
Reflector and transmission sensor available.
5″ Expand OD media capacity and large media bin design.

The A-2240 thermal transfer printer features fast performance, easy integration and a compact, sleek design. Fast print performance of up to five inches per second is based on a 32-bit microprocessor and built-in 4M Flash and 8M DRAM memory.
Offering flexible connectivity with standard parallel and serial ports and a USB interface, this printer is easy to integrate with existing systems. An optional Ethernet interface (A-2240E) provides convenient connectivity to networks. A separate window allows users to control when the media is reloaded. Centralized print alignment permits a maximum of 5“ OD media rolls. Reflective and transmissive sensors allow convenient use of a wide range of media (up to 100 inches by command) up to 50 inches long. The printer provides an additional stationary transfer sensor for the label. The applications used by the apparel industry also support the 1D / GS1 Data Stick, 2D / Composite codes and QR barcodes. The A-2240 is an easy-to-use, entry-level printer that delivers exceptional value.
