In pass / fail and ANSI classes 1 through 4, incorrect labels that do not meet a specified threshold are overridden and a new label is reprinted. The PX940 printer has print records up to +/- 0.3 mm (0.012 inch). The tendency to miniaturize requires printing on smaller, smaller labels. The PX940 will print small labels correctly with a small fault tolerance from end to end.
The PX940 printers are suitable for shipping and logistics, pharmaceutical and healthcare, shipping and distribution centers, industrial production, automotive parts suppliers and regulated applications that require high precision and error-free printing. The PX940 printer is available in two versions: an option with an integrated authenticator and an integrated authenticator. Both versions feature standard features such as Bluetooth® and smart printing, where users can configure and fine-tune settings without the need for a host.
